THE SUMMER SECRET TO FLAWLESS LEGS

THINK HOSIERY IS JUST FOR WINTER? THINK AGAIN...

We've got some tips up our sleeves for flawless legs this summer!

We're on the cusp of summer now and if you're anything like us, you'll probably be in full leg Panic Mode! With no holiday in sight yet, countless fake tan disasters and the odd, unexplained bruise (seriously, how do they happen?!), the last thing we want to do as the weather heats up is get our pins out. But, there is a stylish secret that has been going around the celeb circles for a while now that we want to let you in on... and it's the nod to the Nude.
Nude hosiery is a must-have lingerie staple and is often the reason why you'll see so many of your favourite celebs strutting their stuff with super smooth and shiny legs. With our new hosiery collection launching recently, we give you the low down on how to get A-List looking legs in seconds and why you should consider going nude...
Make-up addict? The biggest reason that many women opt for Nude hosiery is because it's essentially make-up for your legs! Pulling them over your legs immediately creates the illusion of smooth skin and glowing colour, so you don't have to worry about whether you've moisturised or whether your fake tan has run. Ariana Grande is a big fan of them and is regularly spotted in them along with her trademark skirts or shorts.

Worried that people will know you're wearing tights? You needn't be because a good quality Nude hue is just as good as your bare legs. The key is to wearing tights as close to your skin tone as possible and choosing subtly shiny styles that give a gentle shimmer as you walk along. Beyonce is a fan whilst she's on stage although we bet you wouldn't have guessed it if we hadn't of told you!
Another reason why they are a woman's secret weapon is that they give you the confidence to wear short summer styles without having to worry about anything being exposed. Plus, while everyone else is battling with the awkward British weather and either keeping hold on their thick winter tights or just simply not daring to get their pins out, those who opt for Nude colours can beat the transitional weather with ease and look summer ready without the pain!

The Duchess is regularly cited as being the comeback Queen for skin-coloured tights - she's an avid wearer of them and it's clear to see why as her legs always look super smooth and incredibly healthy. Especially for more formal occasions, such as weddings, Nude hosiery can be a saviour because they give your legs instant uplift without any of the hassle.

BLUEBELLA Q&A: WOLF & MOON

BLUEBELLA X WOLF & MOON: INTERVIEW WITH FOUNDER HANNAH DAVIS

Lingerie and jewellery go so well together!

We love working with other brands that we adore and we were super excited when East London jewellery brand
Wolf & Moon wanted to team up with us. Founded by Hannah Davis, like us, Wolf & Moon prides itself on being a female-led entrepreneurial brand and offers amazing designs at affordable prices. Because we love amazing jewellery just like the next girl does, we wanted to show you how to style up our favourite Bluebella pieces with the Wolf & Moon pieces we're totally obsessed with...
First though, check out our exclusive chat with Wolf & Moon founder Hannah and find out all about the brand...

Q: TELL US ABOUT WOLF & MOON

Hannah: We're an independent jewellery brand based in East London. Our jewellery is graphic, modern and playful - we love to mix up colour, texture and shape creating a unique aesthetic. All pieces are handmade in our workshop by our small team of skilled makers.

Q: HOW DID YOU START THE BRAND?

Hannah: I started making jewellery when I was very young, but when I moved to London for university I got the opportunity to start selling my pieces on a market stall every weekend. It was so satisfying selling pieces I had made and seeing customers return with their friends the following week. It went from there really - I picked up a few stockists, opened an online shop and when I graduated I started taking on assistants to help with the work load!

Q: WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE PIECES FOR SS16?

Hannah: My favourite pieces are the Column earrings (left) - I've found they go with everything and aren't too dressy for daywear. Also the Marble U necklace - I'm really happy with the marble pattern and love the combination of materials in this piece.

Q: WHY DO YOU THINK LINGERIE AND ACCESSORIES ARE SO IMPORTANT?

Hannah: Wearing pretty lingerie makes me feel great inside even if  no one else will see it. Accessories can transform an outfit and really say something unique about who I am. I would say both are super important in helping us feel good about ourselves, inside and out!

Q: WHAT HAS BEEN YOUR FAVOURITE PART OF THE BLUEBELLA X WOLF & MOON COLLABORATION?

Hannah: I loved the chance to photograph our jewellery alongside another brand, especially lingerie, which we haven't done before. It's always a challenge photographing something new but they worked really well together!

Q: WHAT'S YOUR FAVOURITE BLUEBELLA PIECE?

Hannah: I love the Raya Soft bra (first picture, above) - it's feminine but with an edgy side to it.

Q: ANY ACCESSORY STYLING TIPS FOR THE SUMMER AHEAD?

Hannah: In the summer I love wearing longer pendants over loose-fitting dresses for a more relaxed look.

Q: WHERE WILL YOU BE MOST LIKELY HANGING OUT THIS SUMMER?

Hannah: I'm taking the brand to two festivals this summer - Latitude and Wilderness! Come hang out with us!

THE BLUEBELLA FESTIVAL PLANNER

GET YOUR FESTIVAL FIX

We give you the low down on where we'll be heading this summer...

With Coachella officially kicking off the season recently, we couldn't be more excited for this summer's jam-packed schedule of festivals! It used to be all about muddy fields and warm cider but in recent years, the festival industry as a whole has really stepped it up a notch. Top quality music just isn't enough these days -  think bespoke cocktails, creative art installations and super lush chill out areas that all take the festival experience to a whole other level.
Here's our pick of our favourites for the summer ahead. Where will you be going?

LOST VILLAGE

If you're looking for a musical experience like no other, then Lost Village is most definitely for you. One of the first ones to kick off the UK calendar, the Lincolnshire-based festival takes place over the Spring Bank Holiday at the end of May and offers an eclectic mix of DJs and live acts, as well as a whole range of other experiences including street food from around the world, a tribal banquet, a theatre and, for when it all gets too much, a lake of tranquility complete with hot tubs, yoga sessions and massages. Lush!

FIELD DAY

If you're in London, then Victoria Park's Field Day is one of the best the capital has to offer. Taking place over the weekend of 11th & 12th June, this city-based festival is perfect if you don't fancy camping overnight. With a relaxed and friendly attitude, it's one of our favourite festivals to head to each summer and because it's small, you'll always find your way around. Big names include PJ Harvey, James Blake, Four Tet, Mystery Jets, Youth Lagoon and lots more. Get ready to party afterwards too as lots is put on nearby.
GLASTONBURY
We couldn't not mention Glastonbury in our top picks but this festival needs no introduction. Towards the end of June, you'll either be heading there or it'll feel like everyone you know is heading there. If you were one of those lucky enough to get a ticket then you're in for a treat. With a tag line of 'if in doubt, just wander', you'll never be stuck for somewhere to go. Practically a small town, there are so many worlds to discover, artists to listen to and experiences to explore that once you're lost in the wonder of Glastonbury, you'll never want to leave. With the big players like Adele, Coldplay and Foals on the bill with hundreds more artists on around the festival, we love going off to the fringes and exploring the music you thought you'd never discover!

 LOVEBOX

Another for the city dwellers, Love Box is a burst of colour, energy and above all, FUN. Lovebox started back in 2002, hatched out of what was initially a club party before moving onto to Clapham Common. One of the original inner city festivals, it eventually moved to its home of Victoria Park 11 years ago and has grown ever since. With a genre-defying line-up of DJs, live bands, art, performance and dance, this is most definitely the place to be for a proper party...

GREEN MAN

So much more than a festival, Green Man is one to head to if you're looking for a festival with a difference. Set in the breathtakingly beautiful setting of the Brecon Beacons, this eco-friendly festival focuses on film, comedy, food as well as a huge line-up of talent including Warpaint, Wild Beasts, Cate Le Bon and tons more. We love the interactive art installations and tranquil waterside spots... it's the perfect balance of partying and chilling!
Stay tuned for our Festival Fashion guide, coming soon...
